| Prakash-225 is a two colour sheet
fed offset press with a maximum speed of 8000 IPH. The press makes it possible
to print two colours in single sided printing. |
| Swing
Gripper mechanism ensure
dot to dot registration of even thin stocks at all speeds. The operator
can do the make ready operation at low speed and registration will hold
good even when the press is running at high speed. Moreover, Swing Gripper
also give the rest to the paper. |
| Precise
side-lay for the both sides : The
side lay is easily positioned on either side of the feed board as required.
The side lay is equipped with both side bearing side lay to get 100% registration.
If any sheet is misfed even for an inch it reaches the front lay, its proper
feeding is ensured. It features micrometer settings, making register setting
easy, reliable and exact on all paper weight and quality. |
| Fast,
accurate plate mounting and positioning : Separate
plate cylinder adjustment permits calibrated plate positioning on the run,
both laterally and circumferentially. |
| Stream
Feeder : The stream feeder
delivers sheets to the press quickly, continuously and automatically. Fingertip
controls allow for easy set-up and adjustment. The feeder head had few moving
parts, thereby reducing maintenance requirements, yet offering accurate
feeding even with irregular or lower quality stocks. The pile height is
960 mm (37.80") which means that most run can be completed without
reloading paper. |

Inking and Dampening Systems : The
20-roller inking system includes three large form rollers of varying diameters
for superior ink distributions. This inking system ensures smooth, even
ink flow to the form rollers for high quality reproduction. The circulating
dampening system maintains a constant water level and ensures continual
mixing of the fountain solution and reduces the need for cleaning the fountain.
Both ink feed and dampening controls are step less, making it easy to achieve
the right balance quickly. |
